First Studio, Phoenix, Arizona

Built in 1949, First Studio was Arizona's first television station, broadcasting news of the world in black and white from the tallest antenna in the Southwest. It was an historic site for celebrities such as Harry Truman, Willie Mays, Muhammad Ali and Vincent Price. In 1961, John F Kennedy did his famous drive past the state's first TV station. And, it was home to a beloved children's tv show, Wallace and Ladmo.

Today, First Studio is a full service production facility for commercials, documentaries and still photography. Located in downtown Phoenix with convenient access to Light Rail, the studio provides a creative atmosphere for small and medium size productions. Housed in our building are production companies, still photography, edit suites, casting directors, graphic and web designers and an audio studio.
